Human Recourses Director; Dr . Ahmed Al-Jabali
The Human Resources Department is one of the fundamental pillars of Ajloun National University. It was established alongside the founding of the university in 2009, initially named the Administrative Affairs Department. At that time, it supervised the Services Department with its various sections, in addition to the Health Center. This structure remained unchanged until 2020, when the name was changed to the Human Resources Department, defining its role in managing staff affairs of both the academic and administrative bodies, while the Services Department and the Health Center became administratively independent entities. The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing the university’s human capital by planning staffing needs, recruiting and appointing qualified personnel, organizing employment and contracts, overseeing salaries and incentives, managing leave, health insurance, deputations, and training and development. The department also works on developing administrative policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with approved regulations and guidelines, and fostering a positive work environment that contributes to enhancing institutional performance and achieving the university’s objectives.
The department also continuously seeks to build a computerized and updated database, implement full electronic archiving of employees’ paper files, and standardize data and information documentation forms by adopting ISO-approved models, in a way that serves the nature of administrative work and enhances its efficiency.
Building an advanced institutional university work environment that supports academic and administrative excellence, enhances belonging and innovation, and achieves a high level of job satisfaction, through effective human resource management and the provision of integrated and computerized services.
