Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies: Prof. Abdul Rahim Al Marashda

The development and greatness of nations is measured by the amount they spend on scientific research and their ability to employ the results of scientific research to serve development and solve society’s problems and due to the university’s belief in the importance of scientific research, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies was established, and several master’s programs had been developed at the university, including law, Islamic banking, business administration, and accounting. Work is underway to open other graduate programs, in the thesis and comprehensive tracks.The deanship pays attention to every human effort aimed at developing human knowledge (scientific research), as the deanship works to organize scientific research affairs in the university and encourages and supports it by various means. However, Priority is given to research whose results serve development plans and help solve society’s problems. The deanship carries out its work in relation to scientific research through the Scientific Research Council, which is chaired by the Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies. The Deanship works to organize and follow up the affairs of postgraduate students at the university through the Graduate Studies Council, which is also chaired by the Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, as the university believes in the importance of postgraduate studies as the main arm supporting the scientific research process.
